Timber offers natural insulation that outperforms uPVC and aluminium, and with proper care a timber door can last 60-80 years, well beyond the typical lifespan of a uPVC door. Timber is also the more sustainable choice, being fully recyclable and biodegradable. It does need a little more maintenance than uPVC, but our factory finishes are designed to keep upkeep to a minimum.
